| Prior to the construction of his last home, Trevor had an epiphany. As the general contractor for the project, he knew that using a traditional REALTOR® to sell his home would be costly. So expensive in fact, that it would erode a large portion of the equity he had earned by building the home himself. His response was simple; start a real estate brokerage - one that was built out of a desire for change. All he needed was the help of a real estate guru, and found one in James Bostwick. What started as a micro business has grown into one of the fastest growing flat-fee brokerages in town. Prior to co-founding Equity One, Trevor worked in the technology sector, most recently as an application specialist for a company focused on developing vision technology for the automated imaging industry. With his background in technology, he knew he could automate many time consuming processes that would reduce the costs of managing a brokerage, and that operating the brokerage like a traditional office wouldn't work. He knew to be successful, things would have to work differently. Outside of real estate, Trevor is an advocate of volunteerism and gives back to his community - as both a dedicated volunteer firefighter with the city of Ottawa, and as a councilor for a busy and distinguished community outreach hotline. Trevor is married to his wife Joanne, and together are raising their three kids. |

| In his 35 years as a licensed real estate broker, there isn't much James hasn't seen in this business. From his days as a salesperson, to his years as a branch manager for one of the largest real estate franchises in Canada, James has witnessed tremendous change to an industry that continuously adapts. He's seen first hand how access to information has essentially reshaped how people buy and sell homes - and he's seen the shift from the traditional model to a growing number of alternatives. Together with Trevor, he co-founded Equity One, and is the Broker of Record for the company. Jim has been married to Wendy, his wife of 39 years. Together, they are the proud parents of Dr. Joanna Bostwick, a local Ottawa Physician. As well as performing his daily duties overseeing the brokerage, Jim is a genius on the piano. He volunteers his piano-playing talent at many of the local hospitals and retirement homes. |
